Google joins Spacetech's funding round, traction in Agritech, and web3 onboarding platforms.

1. 🔗 Link: Google joins Homegrown Spacetech’s startup’s $36 Million Round

  • Pixxel, founded by Awais Ahmed and Kshitij Khandelwal, develops hyperspectral imagery satellites for better understanding of images pertaining to the planet and many more use cases.

  • The new funds will help build the world’s only hyperspectral satellite constellation, and also to develop Aurora, their AI-powered data analytics platform, aiming to make these services accessible to everyone.

  • This round brings their total venture funding to $71 Million

2. 🔗 Link: Transak scoops up $20 Million for its Web3 onboarding and payments platform

  • Founded by Yeshu Agarwal and Sami Start, they wanted to address a pressing need faced by web3 developers to onboard users with fiat.

  • Customers of Transak can embed the best ways to onboard their users by enabling them to buy and sell crypto assets from 150+ countries.

  • Currently, they are the go-to solution for many of the industry’s leading web3 applications, like Coinbase and Metamask, for example.

3. 🔗 Link: Agritech secures $2 Million in pre-Series A round

  • Balwaan Krishi, an agricultural technology company specialising in small farm machines, has achieved significant traction, having created awareness among 10 million farmers and already serviced 5 lakh farmers with their products.

  • There is a significant market gap in the Indian subcontinent, with most products built and geared towards large scaled farms, and this is the niche Balwaan Krishi have created for themselves, with their affordable range.

  • The new funding will help them expand into India’s South and East, and develop a pan-India distribution network.
